Common questions

How does “In Stock Now” work?

Shops either link their Discogs seller account, which Sprindle checks regularly, or keep their shelf up to date on Sprindle themselves. Each copy shows its price, condition and when it was last updated. Records sell fast, so it's worth checking with the shop before you go.

What does “Where to Dig” mean?

When no shop has confirmed a copy, Sprindle suggests the shops that specialize in that record's sound. It's a pointer, not a promise that the record is in stock.

Why can I play some tracks but not others?

Previews come from Apple Music. Many records, especially vinyl-only pressings, aren't on Apple Music, so those tracks have no play button.

A new release is missing. When will it appear?

New releases are added to producer profiles automatically, usually within a day of being listed in the music databases Sprindle draws on. If something is still missing after a few days, email us and we'll take a look.

How do I delete my account?

Open Library, tap your initials at the top right, then Delete Account. Your account, follows and saved records are erased from your phone straight away.

Does Sprindle track me or share my data?

No. There are no ads or trackers, and your account stays on your device. The Privacy Policy has the details.

Run a record shop?

Put your records in front of diggers looking for them. List your stock in the Sprindle shop panel, or link your Discogs seller account and it syncs automatically.
